Our Approach
New Era Dancers is an artistic and educational movement founded by Márcia Delgado to unite classical ballet, Chinese dance, integrative therapies, and holistic education.
Our approach is rooted in the belief that dance is not only art, but also healing, ritual, and transformation. By combining the rigor of classical ballet (Vaganova, Cuban, RAD) with ancient practices such as Qigong, meditation, mindfulness, and Chinese medicine, we create a methodology where technique is inseparable from soul.

About New Era Dancers
"the art of dance for a better world"
“A dance teacher who understands not only the physical virtues but also the virtues of being is directly connected with the dancer’s soul.” New Era Dancers is more than a ballet studio — it is a global movement philosophy. Rooted in Vaganova-based classical ballet and enriched by Cuban and RAD techniques, it blends the precision of traditional training with the depth of somatic movement, quantum science, and ancient healing practices. Founded by dance mentor and holistic therapist Márcia Delgado, New Era Dancers embodies the vision of dance as cure, ritual, and silent revolution. From professional ballet to integrative arts, it bridges East and West, merging classical Chinese dance, Qigong, mindfulness, and contemporary approaches to create a path of transformation through the body. At the heart of our work lies the belief that dance is not only an artistic expression but also a healing practice and a gateway to higher consciousness. Every gesture, from the most technical ballet step to the most intuitive hand movement, carries memory, presence, and intention. Through workshops, performances, online programs, and artistic collaborations, New Era Dancers nurtures a community of artists and seekers who believe in the power of movement to connect, transform, and heal. Our mission is simple yet profound: to bring beauty, awareness, and harmony to the world — one dancer, one body, one soul at a time. Through this approach, New Era Dancers empowers children, adolescents, and professional artists alike — preparing them for the stage, but also for life, cultivating confidence, resilience, and creativity. At its core, New Era Dancers is a bridge between East and West, science and art, body and spirit
