Maria Vakhrusheva is a Russian-born ballerina, ballet teacher, choreographer, and mentor internationally recognized for her strong foundation in the Vaganova Method and her distinguished artistic career with the prestigious Mariinsky Ballet (Kirov).
She began her studies at the renowned Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg in 1983 and graduated in 1991. From 1991 to 1997, she performed as an artist with the Mariinsky Ballet, participating in international tours and performing major roles in classical repertoire productions including The Nutcracker, Giselle, La Bayadère, and Swan Lake.
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Ballet and Repertoire, Maria has worked internationally as a ballet teacher, rehearsal coach, and pedagogical mentor, including positions with the Israeli National Ballet, the Maria Olenewa State Dance School in Brazil, and the International Ballet School in Tokyo.
