Criations by New Era Dancers
This page is a glimpse into my choreographic journey — ballets I have created, some already performed, others still waiting to be brought to the stage. While some productions were lost to time, their essence remains alive through memories and sketches. For works yet to be realized, I share visual impressions crafted with AI — not as finished pieces, but as windows into the imagination.
Every creation holds a story, waiting for the right moment, the right stage, and the right dancers to bring it to life.

Ballet “Romance in the Lotus Forest”, created by me at the age of 23 (1993, Rio de Janeiro). An original production encompassing set design, costumes, and choreography, with a soundtrack by Kitaro and inspired by an Asian tale.

“Brazil and China: The Legend of the Red Thread” is a creation and choreography by Márcia Delgado, first presented in Rio de Janeiro in 2023. The work celebrates the encounter of cultures through the language of dance, uniting tradition, poetry, and ancestry on stage.

“The Magpie Bridge” — A contemporary ballet adaptation of the ancient Chinese lovers’ legend, reimagined by Márcia Delgado with Chinese Classical Dance technique (2024).

Chinese Classical Dance technique (2024).
