About the Course

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is a revolutionary conditioning system designed to enhance a dancer’s strength, alignment, and awareness of muscle activation.Using stability balls, resistance bands, and targeted exercises, this class helps dancers identify and engage the correct muscles required for classical ballet technique.

Students develop:

  • Core stability and spinal alignment.

  • Improved turnout and placement.

  • Enhanced control in adagio, pirouettes, and jumps.

  • Injury prevention through body awareness and coordination.

Márcia Delgado is an international ballet teacher and dance therapist, certified in multiple classical methods including Vaganova, Cuban, and RAD, with over two decades of experience in performance and education.
Her approach to PBT integrates anatomical precision with somatic awareness, Chinese medicine principles, and mindfulness practices, offering students a holistic path toward technical excellence and physical wellbeing.
